Pearson Education Physics is an American engineering and design firm specializing in physical education and education technology.
It has offices in New York, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., and Austin.
Its founder, Edward Pearson, is a former NASA astronaut and the son of an engineer who founded a company that produced the first satellite navigation system.
Pearson is best known for its computer-aided design (CAD) software, which helps companies design complex systems.
The company is also known for teaching physics, physical education, and other engineering and science subjects.
“We teach physical education to students in every age group, and we also train them in math, science, and technology,” Pearson said in a statement to the Verge.
“In fact, we use many of the same tools and materials that we use to design our products, which makes us a prime candidate for teaching a wide variety of engineering and technical skills.
“The team of about 40 employees, who range in age from 8 to 78, are passionate about helping our customers achieve their full potential. “
It’s an amazing place to work,” Pearson continued.
