The city of Columbus will host a special event on March 1, 2020, to celebrate Columbus’ centennial celebration.
Organizers say the event will feature a “mini-civic exercise” and a physical education demonstration, which will begin at 9 a.m. at the Columbus Center, a downtown venue, in the heart of the city.
The Columbus Center will host the event with a full-scale exercise and will also host a small group of individuals, who will also have the opportunity to take part in a mini-civics exercise and a community exercise, organizers said in a news release.
The exercise will include two- to four-person groups that will walk around a small park with a goal of walking, running or walking, and then “walk in a circle,” the news release said.
The city of Cleveland is also hosting a mini event in its Central Business district on March 5, 2020.
