(AP) A teacher in the Seattle suburb of Mount Pleasant was charged Monday with one count of second-degree assault for allegedly kicking a student in the back while she was taking physical education lessons.
The Seattle Times reports that Lisa F. Boulton, 45, was arrested Monday after an investigation found that her behavior was unacceptable.
Boulton was arrested after an officer responded to a 911 call at about 2 a.m.
Friday from a student who had a “significant” medical issue.
The student told police he was kicked by Boulson in the head, chest and groin.
The student’s mother, who declined to be identified, said she believed her son was assaulted because Boulons teacher was watching him in the hallway during the classes.
The mother also said Boultons behavior was disruptive.
