More than 2,000 people from across the country took part in a seminar in the United Kingdom on Monday evening to discuss what it means to be physically active in sport.
The event, called the Sports Educators’ Conference, was organised by the British Sport Council, a voluntary body that organises conferences and training programmes for schools, colleges and universities.
It was organised with the aim of helping young people become more physically active, with the goal of helping them achieve their lifelong goal of becoming physically active.
The event was organised as part of the Sports Education Week , which runs from Thursday 26 June to Saturday 2 July.
Dr. Kate Morgan, the founder of the conference, said it was a great opportunity to discuss the key lessons that we as sport educators can learn from students.
“The more physical activity you have, the better your mental health and well-being will be.”
Physical activity is the keystone of the whole wellness plan for athletes,” she said.
In a video posted on the conference’s website, Morgan said that sports educators needed to take an active role in ensuring that young people have a safe environment to engage in physical activity.”
This can be done through a range of ways, from offering physical activity workshops to developing a range in our school curriculum, including the new physical activity curriculum,” she added.
She said that as a sport educator, you could also work with your school to develop a physical activity plan.”
As a physical education professional, it is my privilege to offer a wide range of practical skills to help you get your sport on the right track,” she wrote.”
From making sure kids understand the basics of physical activity, to teaching them about the science behind physical activity and teaching them the importance of staying active, this is an opportunity for us all.
